The hospital bracelet around your wrist. Their wrinkled little feet. The bassinet beside your bed. Older siblings meeting them for the first time. The way you and your partner keep staring at this tiny person like you can't believe they're finally here.
The First Hours is documentary in nature. There's no elaborate posing and nothing needs to be perfect. I'm simply there to preserve what the beginning actually felt like.

I'll gently guide you when needed, but most of our time will be spent allowing your family to simply be together. Baby can eat. Someone can cry. Big brother can climb into the hospital bed. This is real life - and that's the point.
One simple Fresh 48 experience.
Fresh 48 sessions don't need to be complicated packages. The magic is having enough time to document your baby's first details and your family's first moments together without turning those precious hours into a photoshoot production.
For now, The First Hours is offered as one complete experience. Additional birth-story offerings may join Dearly Held in the future, but this session contains everything needed to preserve the beginning beautifully.
how scheduling works
Your due date reserves space on my calendar rather than a specific appointment. Once baby arrives, you'll contact me and we'll coordinate your session during your hospital stay based on both your recovery and my availability.
They'll never be this new again.
A signed agreement and non-refundable booking retainer are required to reserve your session. Flexible payment options are available.
