I'm a St. Louis motherhood photographer, a mom of four, and somebody who is probably a little too sentimental about the ordinary things.

Motherhood has taught me how strange time can be. The days can feel long, loud, messy, and completely mundane - and somehow, before you realize it, the baby you were just holding against your chest is running through the house with a personality all their own. There are so many little things you swear you'll remember forever: the way their whole hand wraps around one of your fingers, the gummy smiles, the wispy newborn hair, the way they fit perfectly into the crook of your neck.

And then one day. you realize you've forgotten some of them.

That's what really sits at the heart of Dearly Held.

I want to create photographs that bring you back - not only to what your family looked like, but to what that season felt like. The anticipation before meeting your baby. Those hazy first days at home. The tiny details that change almost overnight. The belly laughs, the wobbly steps, bear hugs, and the beautiful chaos that fill the years that follow.

And because I'm raising four kids of my own, I promise I'm not expecting perfection from yours. Your toddler can need a snack. Your newborn can refuse to sleep. Someone can cry, someone can wander away, and nobody needs to know what to do with their hands. You don't have to arrive knowing how to pose or how to make your family look picture-perfect. That part is my job.

You just get to love on your people.
